At the end of my life, I want to make sure there's no more gas left in the tank. No unused opportunities or hours wasted on petty things. To lead a life that is characterized by "spending gas" and always moving forward is to obey God and leave all the consequences to Him. Nothing short of that. That, my friend, is the life I want to lead.

It is true that you are much more beggarly than you should be because you’re much more satisfied with what little He gives you. Oh that God would give us men and women who are not satisfied with the last gift they receive and they want more. Why does He say to “taste and see that the Lord is good?” So that you want more and more.
